Palliative Care

Providing care when you need it most

Serious illnesses require more than just care, they require comfort, too. Palliative care is provided to people living with serious illnesses, to relieve pain and other symptoms and to improve comfort and quality of life.

Palliative Care consists of symptom treatment, emotional support and spiritual support, which help ease the physical and emotional pain and suffering caused by a serious illness.

Cayman HospiceCare palliative Care focuses on relieving your pain and symptoms through medications and integrated therapies that nurture your body as well as your soul.

If you are living with a chronic condition or have been diagnosed with a serious illness that has not yet reached an advanced stage but your daily life is being affected by uncontrollable symptoms, our palliative teams may help you find the comfort you need to carry on with your daily life. Cayman HospiceCare palliative care services are available to family and caregivers as well.

Palliative care services are helpful not only when a person is approaching death but also during the earlier stages of an illness. Palliative care may be combined with other treatments aimed at reducing or curing the illness, such as chemotherapy. Families also benefit from support when their loved one is dying and after his or her death.

Our Palliative Care services include:

  • Pain and symptom management by your care team of palliative medical professionals
  • Integrative medicines  to complement your medical treatment and bring you additional comfort

It’s not unusual to have questions or concerns when dealing with a serious illness. We realize those concerns don’t always come up according to someone else’s schedule. That’s why we’re here whenever you need us.
