Music Therapy

Research indicates that music therapy accomplishes a myriad of objectives in the hospice and palliative care setting, addressing many elements of quality of life, including physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, and environmental. Our patients who have participated in individual music therapy sessions have reported a reduction of pain and discomfort, positive changes in mood, peace and comfort, increased coping abilities, reduced isolation and anxiety, social interaction with family and care givers, among other benefits.
