LIGHT UP A LIFE,
CEREMONY OF REMEMBRANCE

The 3rd Annual Light up a Life Ceremony took place on 3 December in Cassia Court at Camana Bay. The night was aglow with lights placed by those who celebrated their memories of loved ones.  Their personalized lights were added to our community memorial structure which stayed lit throughout the holiday season. Select members of the National Choir and Orchestra under the direction of Sue Horrocks created a beautiful backdrop for this warm and spiritual event. Our many thanks to event sponsors FirstCaribbean Bank and Camana Bay.

Light up a Life 2012 will take place on Thursday 29 November.

2012 Cayman Watercolours Calendar

CHC is extremely grateful to volunteer Julia Hedges for leading this project and to her sister Annette Zalewski, the artist, for donating her talent to make the project a reality.

Special thanks go to project sponsor Greenlight Re for funding this entire calendar campaign. Their sponsorship ensures that 100% of the proceeds raised both from the calendar sales and from the purchase of the original artwork at the launch, go to supporting our ongoing free services.

The calendars make fantastic personal and corporate gifts and even better souvenirs, so please spread the word. The 2013 Watercolours Calendar will be available this summer and will feature 13 new paintings. They can be purchased online,
www.caymanwatercolourscalendar.com or from the Cayman HospiceCare office located at the Conch Shell House, 492 North Sound Rd.

Community Christmas Card and Angels for Hospice

Two other ways to support Cayman HospiceCare: The Annual Community Christmas Card and the Angels for Hospice. Each year our beautifully designed 12-page card provides the Cayman community with a way to send greetings to friends, family, clients and customers. Copies of the card are distributed in the Caymanian Compass before Christmas and participants can save time and money while supporting CHC.

The handcrafted clay angels, each year a different design, make a perfect gift and look beautiful hanging from a window or tree. These are just two more unique ways to support our free services.
